All Aboard! Become a Marine Scientist Onboard Our Research Vessel ANGARI

On Thursday, October 8, join us anytime between 4 PM and 7:30 PM ET to meet the team and become a scientist for the day! At the dock, you’ll tour our 65-foot research vessel, known for its support of various research topics, including sharks, sea turtles, coral reefs, Sargassum and more. While onboard, learn how to properly measure a shark, study coral reefs, and operate a research vessel! Following the vessel tour, you’ll decorate drift cards, examine marine debris, and learn about our local waterways. Activities are appropriate for all ages. 

ANGARI Foundation – ANGARI Foundation is a 501(c)(3) private operating foundation established in 2016 and headquartered in West Palm Beach, Fla. The Foundation is dedicated to creating a global community that is interested, knowledgeable, and invested in marine and environmental sciences by directly supporting research initiatives that foster a greater trust and dialogue between scientists and the public. ANGARI Foundation uses innovative technology, film, and other media to raise awareness and strengthen science education. Many of the Foundation’s primary initiatives involve R/V ANGARI, a 65-foot vessel that serves as an exceptional research and education platform.
